Music lovers and gear collectors alike will find plenty to explore when the Carolina Guitar Show rolls into Buncombe County this weekend. This long-running event brings collectors and curious browsers together for a massive showcase of guitars, amps, pedals, and music memorabilia.
You’ll see everything from beautifully worn vintage instruments to modern builds, with plenty of chances to chat with sellers and fellow music lovers. Even if you’re not planning to buy, it’s a fun way to explore the region’s deep music culture and maybe discover a sound you didn’t know you needed.
Whether you play, collect, or just appreciate good music, this is one of those events where you can easily lose a few hours wandering.

⚡ The Orange Peel announces new outdoor venue: Hellbender

Hellbender by The Orange Peel
Asheville’s music scene is getting a big addition. The Orange Peel has announced Hellbender, a new outdoor venue expected to open this July. The space will host concerts, festivals, and community events, expanding the city’s already vibrant live music landscape.
Get ready to enjoy shows from the graded lawn area or grab a seat in the side section if you prefer a little structure with your live music. Early renderings show shaded awnings, a bar, merch stands, food truck space, and multiple entrances to keep things moving smoothly. Free parking and a shuttle service will be available, and if you like to plan ahead, paid concert parking reservations will open starting April 15.
